New Wave Runner at Mermaid Beach
Mermaid Beach AEME SLSC is excited to add a wave runner to our patrol equipment for the upcoming season. We would like to thank the Gambling Community Benefit Fund for grant funding for the purchase of this equipment.
Some of our Patrol Captains and patrolling members have gained their PWC Licences and have started their SLSQ training on how to operate and use the wave runner during patrols and rescues. We are grateful to The Community Benefit Fund for Gold Coast Light Rail for grant funding for our training project. We look forward to using this new addition when the patrol season starts in September.
2024 Pan Pacific Master Games – Sunday 10 November

Mermaid Beach SLSC is very excited to be hosting the Pan Pacs Ocean Swimming event in 2024! There will be 3 course options: 1km, 2.5km & 4km.
The Pan Pacs are Asia-Pacific’s biggest and best annual Masters Games. This is your opportunity to be a sports star for 10 days at some of the best sporting facilities on the planet, as well as a great entertainment program. No qualifying standards for entry.
