Lest we forget
Today we reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of the Anzacs—men and women who gave so much so we could live with freedom. From the battlefields to the beaches, their spirit lives on in the strength of our community and the mateship we value every day.
We will remember them.

“The club will be open for the community, come on down”
After waiting for the last of the big trees to fall we were proud to announce on Channel9 News that we would reopen as normal on Saturday 8th March despite Cyclone Alfred.
We charged your phones, fed you hot food and gave you shelter to socialize.
And YOU responded with the biggest sense of community. A special thank you to the locals who pitched in and helped us on that Saturday so we could continue looking after everyone affected by the cyclone.
The worst has passed but things take time to get back to normal after a cyclone. That’s why we’re really happy housing Jo our surf club rep in our upstairs office. Whilst supermarkets are trying to restock, we have plenty of food to serve to you, so come on down.
