All Memberships are subject to approval at the next management committee meeting.
The above fees include membership of the Supporter’s Club for all persons aged 18 years and over.
Membership includes a secure login access to the club web site and access to the member’s pages pertaining to the category of membership.
Transfers must be approved prior to involvement in activities
Family Membership is available for up to 2 adults and all the children that they are jointly, legally and morally responsible for.
Probationary: any person for the time period between applying for a membership and the gaining of an award and/or the granting of a formal category of membership
Junior Activities: minimum age of five (5) years and up to a maximum age of thirteen (13).
Cadet: 13 – 15 years old. A Surf Life Saving Certificate holder which must be updated at an annual proficiency test.
Active: Bronze Medallion holder which must be updated at an annual proficiency test. Under 18 classed as Junior
Reserve Active: may be applied for by active members who have satisfactorily completed (from the gaining of the Bronze medallion) at least eight (8) years of patrol and club obligations as provided by SLSA and club constitution
Long Service: members who have completed ten (10) years active service or to a member who has completed eight (8) years active service plus four (4) years reserve active service.
Award: person who hold a SLSA award of one, or more of the following qualifications – Surf Rescue Certificate, Radio Operators Certificate, resuscitation Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation Certificate or First Aid Certificate (or equivalent).
Associate: persons who may or may not hold a SLSA award. Are covered by insurance
Life Members: persons who have rendered distinguished or special service as provided by the constitution.
The member’s age is how old they are on the 30th September of the current year.
